Customers interested in the 2020 Nissan Altima will be able to choose between two engine options. The base equipment consists of a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine making 188 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque when equipped with front-wheel-drive. A turbocharged, 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine making up to 248 horsepower is also available.
Owners of the 2020 Altima with the 2.5-liter engine can expect these models to achieve just under 30 miles per gallon in the city and nearly 40 miles per gallon on the highway, regardless of it's equipped with front- or all-wheel-drive. The more powerful engine with the variable compression turbocharger will make 25 miles per gallon in the city and 34 miles per gallon on the highway.
Modern vehicles need to have the latest connectivity technology to be successful. The 2020 Nissan Altima offers customers universal access to a smartphone-compatible infotainment that will work with both the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ suites of applications. Additionally, a 360-degree view camera system is equipped on top-end trims.
